Purpose

These terms set out how the website soriston.com and the Soriston immersive training platform, published by Pixeo Group, may be accessed and used.

Access to the service

Access to Soriston is restricted to users holding an account, created either by Pixeo Group or by the organisation the user belongs to.

Authentication uses a one-time code sent by email. Users undertake not to share their access.

Acceptable use

Users undertake to use the site and platform for their intended purpose and in line with applicable regulations. The following are prohibited:

• any attempt at unauthorised access to systems or data;
• extracting, copying or redistributing training content;
• recording or capturing training modules;
• any action liable to disrupt the operation of the service;
• sharing credentials with a third party.

Training content

Modules, scenarios, 360° videos and associated materials remain the property of Pixeo Group or, as the case may be, of the commissioning client organisation. They are made available strictly for internal training use, with no right of reproduction or distribution.

Availability

Pixeo Group takes reasonable steps to keep the service available, without guaranteeing uninterrupted operation. Maintenance may cause temporary unavailability, announced in advance where possible.

Equipment and prerequisites

Users are responsible for their own equipment, connection and updates. Soriston runs on compatible virtual reality headsets, mobile, tablet and recent browsers. Offline mode requires content to be downloaded beforehand.

Personal data

The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

Liability

Training content serves an educational purpose. It does not replace the employer’s regulatory obligations regarding training, safety and health at work, nor the internal procedures applicable on site.

Changes to these terms

Pixeo Group may amend these terms. The applicable version is the one published on the site at the time of use.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, the competent French courts may be seized.
